For the past 30 years we've had a medical mission team serving in South India, training doctors and nurses and providing financially to further develop the medical facilities. From a six-bed, primitive clinic on a rubber tree plantation, to an eight-story hospital, medical and nursing school, this mission has been exponentially successful. This year almost 30 nursing students graduated and 97 medical students became doctors. These students were among the poorest of the poor in that part of India.
Zion Children's Home
We began our partnership with The Zion Methodist Children’s Home in 2015. This home seeks to provide a safe sanctuary for the growth of children who have been neglected or abused in the Bahamas, especially on the island of Eleuthera. Through holistic development initiatives, the home and its affiliates seek to provide an atmosphere and programming whereby the abused and neglected children of the Bahamas can safely be nurtured as they are encouraged in their spiritual, emotional, intellectual, social, and physical growth.
